What Is a Skill?

The Skills API: Skills Leave Notion

The headline new capability in Notion 3.7 is the Skills API. It exposes skills stored in Notion as spec-compliant files that any agent or tool can call.

According to official documentation, the same skill library can simultaneously serve Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, and internal custom tooling. Different AI tools, one team standard.

Agent SDK Public Beta

The Agent SDK public beta released alongside the Skills API lets you trigger Notion agents directly from external apps, continue agent conversations from anywhere, and stream results back. Available to Business and Enterprise customers.
